//wut? why?
i am not entirely sure but i am severely worried about what is going to happen.
I know i have been gone for a few days, its cuz my sister ran away from home so now i have to try and figure stuff out.
“Kinda, I did a few things for her but mainly a new gown for myself.” She grinned, coughing once more. “I wanted to make a new design, something I have never worn before.”
“Oh?” He humphed, burying his face in her long red hair and taking a few deep breath. She smelt so good: “Any specific occasions? Or just want to wear something new?”
“Just something new.” She smiled, wrapping her arms around him to pull him closer. “I’m just not sure about it just yet, I’ve not worn anything like it before and I am a bit nervous about wearing it.” It was a long way from done but she knew what it would look like in her mind and in her mind she had never worn a gown showing so much skin as this gown would be revealing.

She hummed at his words, arching her neck a bit. “I am fine.” She mumbled but she picked the drink up and took a small sip. “Yuck.” The drink burned slightly as she tried to shake off the taste in her mouth. “I don’t want soup, maybe later.”
She set the drink down before he gathered her close and rested against him. “I have been fine. Missed you a bit and I worked on a few dresses at the shop.”
“For Nijah? I was under the impression she’s in slumber as well,” Patiyk took a gulp from his bottle and nuzzled against her hair again: “Something to do with her lover not around and it’s easier to pass the time. I hope she didn’t leave you all those jobs she’s suppose to do. It’s o unlike her.”

She let her hand drop when he left, curling up in her spot, suddenly feeling cold. She had just closed the window when he returned. She was going to move but he had already picked her up, her head turning to nip at his upper arm playfully. “Well, I forbid you from doing that.” She said as she curled into him. She giggled lightly when he played with her hair, making her shiver. “You better not start something unless you are going to finish.” She teased before coughing again, her whole body shaking from it.
“I always finish what I started, cherie,” He murmured and started butterfly kisses on the soft spot behind her neck, pausing with a frown as she started coughing: “………….and you tell me you are actually okay? Drink the drink, young lady. Am definitely will go downstairs in a moment to cook you those ginger soup.”
He waited until the wave of coughs were finish before gathered her into his close embrace again. He let his fingers tracing her collar bone, exposed over the opening of her…his shirt absent-mindlessly: “How have you been faring, by and by? Aside from this naughty little cough, that is.”

“Well, I don’t like it. I will prefer to hear laughter from your mouth, petite,” He slowly followed her to another room, leaning against the door frame: “Call me a bossy vampire than, but I do like fuss over those I care about. “
He looked over her lovely form for some time before opened his mouth again: “Would you like me to keep you company? I can always get those fresh blood from the chiller and drank them for the time being? I haven’t seen you in a while and would like to talk to you a bit more.”
“You are bossy.” She felt like saying it but did smile afterwards, feeling better now that she was cooling off. She didn’t touch her drink but held her hand out. “Of course you can spend time with me, just no more worrying, understood?” She asked, her eyes feeling slightly heavy though she had already slept quite a bit from before. “By the way, I am kidnapping your shirt, I like how it looks on me.” She also liked how it smelled too, it smelled of him. “Come on, join me and cuddle with me. I’m not sick so you can’t catch it.” She teased.
“Vampire don’t get sick,” Patiyk disappeared to the chiller to pick up his fresh blood. He returned moments later, grinned as he walked over to the chair, picked up Ina and sat down again, tugging her firmly on his lap: “Not by this way. We got sick only when we drink the Bad Blood-blood from those who’s heart stop beating. But enough for that, I like how my shirt look on your figure, cherie. It had become you rather well. You look positively……ravishing.”
He leaned over and began to nuzzle her neck, burying his face between her long hair and inhaled.

“Patiyk, I am fine. I do not need liquor nor a soup. A book with an open window is fine.” She gathered her hair up to fan her neck, feeling a bead of sweat drip down. “Why is it so bloody warm in here?” She moved off her seat only to get slightly dizzy. “I’ll take my drink in the other room.” She mumbled. She didn’t like the fuss being had over her, she had never had it done before and it was all new to her so she didn’t know how to react to it.
She didn’t want her actions to upset him, and she hoped she hadn’t upset him but she didn’t know how to act, what to say to being taken care of. It was easy for her to take care of others but others to take care of her? It didn’t sit well with her. She settled herself in a chair after opening a window and letting the cool breeze wash over her as it poured buckets of rain outside. She had meant to read but just the thought of her picking up a book had her body groaning. “Its just a cough. More of a throat tickle really.”

“Pas maintenant, petit,” He took the stool next to hers and sat down, still holding her free hand: “How are you faring? Non, don’t tell me you are well. Any being with two eyes can tell you are not. With London pouring down with enough water to drown all of us, it will be a great surprise if you are still in robust health. You should drink something warm. Something like a chicken broth of sort.”
He paused, cornflower orbs drifted toward the stove top and grinned at the sight of the large cooking pot: “Which I assumed you had started?”
“I am fine with my salad. I made some seasoned chicken and diced it for my salad. I shall be fine.” She squeezed his hand lightly as she forked another bite, this time with a crunchy crouton and a diced tomato, after chewing she tried to swallow only to feel the tomato sting her throat and the crouton scrape against it to cause another coughing fit. “I’m fine, I’m fine.” She coughed out as she drank her water next to her bowl. “The pot I just finished using for the chicken. I am not getting sick.” She would be dammed if she had to stay in bed all day with nothing to do.
“I am done eating for now,” Her throat was too sore to try and eat more but she wasn’t about to say so. “I’m going to read a book.” More or less wanted to open a window since she was getting a bit warm.
He rolled his eyes, got up to his feet and moved to the cupboard. He took out a bottle of Whiskey and a glass. Tipping the bottle to fill the bottom of the glass, he pushed it before the young woman: “Drink it, it will make you feel better. And I am going to cook you some ginger soup with heaps of brown sugar. A recipe Arachne, Nijah’s spider had showed her when Krull was under the weather.”
He grimaced before smirked playfully: “I do sound like a mother hem, non? Don’t tell my victim that I am not like that, oui? I have a vampire reputation to uphold.”

She had made herself comfortable in Patiyk’s apartment, so comfortable that she even wore less clothing. Instead of one of her gowns she wore a white button up shirt of his with her corset, underwear, and stockings underneath. She would not conform to the modern style of clothing, she couldn’t see herself in the kinds women of today wore showing their mid drift and such but inside where only he could see she did not mind.
The sun had just set and she had finished making herself something to eat, letting her blood red curls out of the ribbon she had been using to hold them back in. During the time she had a cough here or there but nothing major, she didn’t want to think about it. Her mind drifted to Patiyk and wondered if he was awake yet or not as she sat at the table to dip her fork in her salad with chicken pieces she had cooked up.
Patiyk let his mind slowly returned to the land of living from his slumber, stretching his supernatural senses outward and over his entire apartment, as well as the entire block. He had been in slumber for over a week. Some unknown fatigue overcame him one evening when he returned from his usual hunt. He barely had energy to drag himself back to his coffin. It had happened to the others, that much he knew. Some even slept decades. Didn’t Bianca did that when she divorced that mortal husband of hers, with Nijah by her side looking after her? Well, so this was not particularly unusual.
He didn’t detect the thought of Cameron near. He would presumed he had gone out. He did a repeat check again to ensure he was still alive by scanning other mortals thoughts in the neighbourhood. Well, the young mutant had went to a nearby coffee shop earlier so he would assume he was alright for the moment.
His Mind Gift then picked up another presence. Ina was downstairs in the kitchen. Her mind seemed to be clogged a slightly faltered. Humph, looked like someone was sick.
He used his gift to lift the lid and sat up, getting out of the coffin and exiting the room. Sauntering down stairs, he reached the red hair woman almost soundlessly. Her back was facing toward him. The red hair of hers were like fire cascading over her shoulders and down her back. It had been some time since he last ran his long fingers through the silken strands.
The vampire sneaked over and suddenly reached out, wrapping his hands around her. He then bent his head down and pressed a kiss on the corner of her right temple.
“Bonsoir, petit,” He whispered next to her ears.
She chewed the crisp green lettuce mixed with the seasoned chicken, two coughs coming from her when she swallowed. She had gone to take another bite when she felt arms around her waist and a breath at her ear. “Good evening.” She smiled, containing the next cough that tried to come out. “Did you sleep well? You have been sleeping a long time.” Her free hand drifted to to his.
No matter what it took to hold the cough in it didn’t work, her other hand setting her fork down to cover her mouth. After the attack was done she shook her head. “Sorry about that. It must be the food.” Though a flush that was not a blush raised across her cheek making her skin look paler than normal. “Are you going out to hunt?” She wanted to brush the cough off, picking up her fork again and leaning into him more as she took another bite.
